Reading a pan-fandom community, I came across this wrap-up of the entirety of Buffy the Vampire Slayer:

I don't know whether to classify this as hyperbole or missing-the-point.

I saw that too. Xander did make an ass of himself....all of us guys do it between the ages of 13-25 and some of us keep doing it. By season 5 he had grown up considerably. I sense a womain scorned and that this opinion was formed after watching Hells Bells....
