Since well before I graduated from high school in 1991, I've been a shameless advocate of Letterboxing or Widescreen Movie presentation. There's not more annoying than watching The Professional and following the obstrusive camera pan from Jean Reno to Natalie Portman in that miniscule apartment.

So it is, without a doubt, a very good thing to learn that widescreen presentation for movies is catching on in the DVD market.

Following a recent post from a friend (who shall remain nameless), I thought both fanfic fans and detractors would get a kick out of this item description from The Kingdom of Loathing:
