If you had to buy a car, and money was an object, what's the cheapest, coolest car you can think of?

Edit: Instead of 'cheapest,' think 'reasonably priced'...

There's a Geo Metro hatchback that I pass on the way to work that has a flame job. That's pretty cool.

Yes, a tough task. First thing I'd say is look for used. Buying something with 15,000 miles on it will drop your cost of entry significantly. Or rock full retro with an old 240Z or something.

I started looking used, but it's interesting, most of the cars I've been looking at (Accord/Camry/Maxima/Altima) tend to have the least amount of depreciation, so there's not a lot of value in looking at the used market for those cars... :(

I am a Nissan girl...my 99 Sentra still runs fabulously, and I am a v. bad car mommy. This is my second Nissan. The Altima I had in high school was really reliable, too. The only problems I have had are minor electrical ones (read: I ignore them, they don't get worse, and they are only marginally annoying).

Depending on your deifnition of "reasonably priced," the Subaru WRX sedan is a pretty cool car. I think it's comparably priced to a new Accord/high-end Civic.

Depending on how much money you have to spend, I'd recommend a Jetta. Love love love my Jetta.
