Dear Everyone:
Jul. 23rd, 2004 11:47 amWe are now living in a world where the greatest, most extensive repository of human knowledge is quite often readily available without the hindrances of physicality.
You can now, with extremely little effort, likely find information on unreleased television pilots from a few years ago, the most poisonous frog in the world, and the next local show of your favorite band.
Living in a city that does not adhere to a grid system no longer sentences you to carrying a large, bulky road atlas in your car with you, nor does a serious dearth of computer hardware expertise hold you back from learning to upgrade your video card.
The Internet is your friend. Sure it's got a lot of ads and porn and jerks, but hey, you can find information on how to avoid that crap as well.
So learn to use it already, dammit.
[ Edit: porn is not necessarily crap... ]
